I am organizing a protest in London for jailed Egyptian blogger Kareem Amer. Kareem spoke out in favor of liberalism and women's equality on his blog and has since been expelled from his university and imprisoned. His trial, part of the Egyptian government's new crackdown on free speech, is now set to take place on February 22.

If you're in London, our protest is tentatively scheduled for Thursday February 15. Please come to support Kareem and the basic principles of liberty and human decency.
